Weekends with Animation: A series of workshops
As part of our AGIF23 pre fest festivities, we have been involved in an exciting workshop arranged by Algobyte from Banasthali Vidyapith, in collaboration with Animator's Guild of India, on Introduction to Animation for the girls of Banasthali Vidyapith.
Conducted on weekends, the workshop consists of 4 sessions, starting with Introduction to Animation, a brief history of Animation, learning 12 principles of animation, gesture drawing, flipbook, and introduction to stop motion. This workshop will be a fun, light hearted introduction to the realm of an otherwise vast stream of animation.
Neekhil Dighe, is a senior animator, artist, and communication designer at Trip Creative Services. The goal of the workshop is to introduce students of Banasthali Vidyapeeth to animation and give them a gist of the beauty that this art has to offer.
